    Superb

The hotel is very convenient to the heart of Galway. It's beautifully situated on the waterfront. The staff is friendly and the rooms are modern, comfortable, and clean.

Rooms very comfortable, particularly the beds.

I liked how gorge eims was!!

    Good

    Location

Breakfast - some items under cooked and not very nice. Directions not very good - it would be helpful if the roundabouts were named for those coming from different directions.

    Superb

Excellent and friendly staff, good food, very handy location. Parking was very handy and cheap right behind the hotel.

The method of switching from bath tap to shower was so difficult I couldn't do it. The price of a pint was 50 cents more than elsewhere. The parking was quite full and difficult to manouevre in due to eejits parking badly.

  • 6.6
    Good

    Nice room & bathroom.

View of the car park from our room. Poor breakfast arrangements. No one asked us if we wanted tea of coffee. The hot buffet continually ran out of items. Staff seemed disinterested.

  • 6.6
    Good

    Proximity to town centre.

This hotel is used for a lot of tour buses and, therefore, the staff seemed extremely tired and overworked. The processing of garbage directly between the hotel and the inlet prohibited any view of the waterway and was not mentioned in any reviews.

    Superb

Facilities were clean & modern & beds were comfortable. Short walk into Galway centre. Breakfast included was standard buffet fare. Good value for money.

There was some sort of event/music competition the night we stayed, and we could hear the music from our room. It kept one of us up until it finished at mid-night.

  • 8.8
    Superb

Nice hotel with nice rooms in the back of the hotel, the reception is nice and the bar serves good selection of beers

The food served in the hotel was very poor, onion rings should not leave a ring or grease on the plate, the mushrooms were deep fried untill they were black and hard. I did not complain as I had eaten in there the night before and sent my dinner back after finding the bangers and mash was deep fried sausages which were so over cooked they should never have been sent out... They obviously have a problem getting good food sent out of the kitchen.

    Exceptional

Location was perfect. Great hotel with friendly staff and all the facilites you need for a city break.

Price was a little excessive but maybe it was because it was a bank holiday in Ireland.

  • 8.8
    Superb

Great location, convenient to bars and restaurants. Staff at the Harbour were friendly and helpful. Smart rooms, compfortable stylish lounge and foyer and a tasty breakfast.

Rooms and en suite a little small although there was a bath.
